About the training: this training teaches about opioids – what they are, signs of an overdose and how to administer Narcan.
About Naloxone: Naloxone (Narcan) is a medication designed to rapidly reverse opioid overdose. It can very quickly restore normal respiration to a person whose breathing has slowed or stopped as a result of overdosing with heroin or prescription opioid pain medications. Narcan is safe, easy to use and does not have any potential for abuse.
